2050 Comp Plan Kickoff
Join the City of Saint Paul Planning Team for the 2050 Comprehensive Plan Kickoff in Rice Park on Thursday, September 17th from 4:00 - 6:00pm.
The Comprehensive Plan is updated every 10 years and serves as Saint Paul’s “blueprint” for guiding how the city grows and develops over the next 20 years. Use the city’s survey and interactive map to tell them to prioritize sustainable development, abundant housing, and low-carbon transportation options.
The Minnehaha Reconstruction Open House
Thursday, September 17th from 5:00-7:00pm Saint Paul Public Works will be presenting their preferred design for the upcoming 2027 Minnehaha Avenue Reconstruction at Hope Community Academy (720 Payne Avenue).
This is a full reconstruction of both the above ground space and the utilities below, with fully replace sidewalks and the addition of a separated space for biking. This reconstruction will have transportation and parking impacts on what is quickly developing into an essential neighborhood node, with JB Vang’s mixed-use affordable housing development and historic building conversion at the former Hamm’s Brewery site underway.

Legislative Look-Ahead with Streets.mn
How do we get more transportation allies into state office without a massive war chest? That’s what we’re gathering to talk about on Thursday, September 17 at 6:30pm.
Streets.mn is hosting a Transportation and Land Use Advocates panel at Arbeiter Brewing in Minneapolis, bringing together organizers and policy experts from Neighbors for More Neighbors, Our Streets, the Sierra Club North Star Chapter, BikeMN, and us at Sustain Saint Paul. Come grab a drink and have a conversation about the transportation future of Minnesota.
