Sustain Saint Paul connects wonky data to everyday neighbors by hosting free, accessible events. In this presentation, Urban planning expert and Saint Paul Resident Heather Worthington (Urban3) used clear visual examples to show how different development patterns affect a city’s ability to fund services and infrastructure. She answers questions like -

• Why have property taxes been rising?

• How does commercial loss downtown affect the rest of the city?

• What do we do about it?

The incredible turnout demonstrates both the urgent need for data-driven solutions as well as the commitment and love that Saint Paul residents have for our city.
