For 3 years, MnDOT and the City’s Public Works Department have been discussing and planning an upcoming paving and partial reconstruction project on state Highway 61 on Saint Paul’s East Side that will be done in 2024-25.

MnDOT is hosting a focus group for people to share their opinions about draft equity-first transportation performance measures their their experiences using the transportation network in Minnesota. Let’s make sure St. Paul voices are included in this effort.

MnDOT’s Rethinking I-94 project started in 2016 and concerns a stretch of Interstate 94 between Saint Paul and Minneapolis. According to MnDOT, the project “intends to reconnect neighborhoods, revitalize communities and ensure residents have a meaningful voice in transportation decisions that affect their lives.”
